I am currently a K-12 STEAM-based art teacher. This is my 14th year teaching and I am trying to find more balance to my life.
I have exclusively taught K-12 grade with many other interesting schedules that art teachers usually get to accommodate everyone. I enjoy using STEAM in my lessons, and I have strong hobbies that include the sciences.

Teaching style
I am a project based teacher that allows students to make choices in their artwork. My rubrics allow this to happen freely as the standards for art have a lot of choice and decision making available.
Awards & shining teacher moments
I have been published in a few educational journals, and for my poetry. I also have had pieces of artwork in a local museum and hospital.
My own education history
I graduated high school in 2008. I attended and graduated from UW-Stout in 2013 with a BS in Art Education. My emphasis in the arts are; art metals and jewelry, ceramics, graphic design and printmaking.
