About the store
I taught 5th grade ELAR and social studies for two years in traditional public school. Before I was a certified teacher, I spent 8 years of teacher assisting in a Montessori charter school. This offered a unique experience that organically has influenced my classroom thought process and creativity when designing learning tasks and resources.

About the store

Experience

I taught 5th grade ELAR and social studies for two years in traditional public school. Before I was a certified teacher, I spent 8 years of teacher assisting in a Montessori charter school. This offered a unique experience that organically has influenced my classroom thought process and creativity when designing learning tasks and resources.

Teaching style

I like to think through the steps a student would take to be successful and prepare from there. I like to use interaction between students and teachers that help students reflect on what they are learning or have created. Using various higher level (and lower level) activities creates a more engaging and quality learning experience for both teacher and student. I love to support my colleagues and learn from each educator no matter how long they have taught.
