Awards & shining teacher moments
I have been fortunate enough to be recognized as a teacher of the year twice and was the first Exceptional Education teacher to receive the Blue-Ribbon Teacher Award in my district.
My own education history
I am a proud second-generation LSU alum (Geaux Tigers!) where I also spent a year attending the University of New Hampshire through a National Student Exchange. I have a Masters in Special Education with additional certification working with English Language Learners. I have completed an additional graduate certification programs in Autism Studies and Applied Behavior Analysis in the last five years.
