Additional biographical information

I come from a family of educators, but teaching is my second career ... in my previous "life", I worked as a museum professional at the North Carolina Maritime Museum. It was at the NCMM that I got to see and help conserve and display some of the artifacts from the shipwreck site that is believed to be Blackbeard's Queen Anne's Revenge ... how cool is that?!
