I student taught in a 2nd grade classroom, taught 4 years in a 4th grade classroom and am in my 3rd year in a 5th grade classroom. I am now an Instructional Coach for Educational Technology.

I am a strong believer in cooperative group work and positive behavior reinforcement. I utilize engagement strategies in every lesson I teach and work to keep students excited about learning!

Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Math from Northern Arizona University. Master of Educational Administration and Supervision from Arizona State University. Arizona certification in Teaching (K-8) and Principal (K-12).

I have 10 years of experience utilizing best practices in the classroom as well as a two-year administrative internship. Additionally, I have experience working as an Accounting Assistant for the past year. I have a passion for learning, strength in leadership and an aptitude for technology.I am a lifelong learner and I try to inspire the same value in all of my students and colleagues. I am eager to participate in new professional development opportunities and to apply that new knowledge to my professional practices. My love of knowledge stretches beyond the classroom walls and into travel around the world. I have visited 28 countries to date and have developed a passion for exploring the traditions of other cultures.
