About the store
Hi! I'm a special education teacher with over 7 years of experience working with amazing students who learn in all kinds of ways. I believe that teaching should never be one-size-fits-all—because no two kids are the same. Differentiation is at the heart of everything I do. One method doesn't work for every child, and that’s okay! I focus on creating resources that help students succeed by using strategies that make sense to them, not just what works for most. I align my materials to grade-level standards but always with flexibility in mind—because meeting students where they are is how real learning happens. Thank you for supporting this store and the work I’m so passionate about!

Teaching style

My teaching style blends traditional methods with modern strategies. I believe students learn best when they understand why they’re learning something, so I always take time to show the real-world importance of the content. I use clear, direct teaching, then scaffold learning with lots of examples, hands-on activities, manipulatives, pictures, and drawings. I also bring in technology and games to make lessons engaging and accessible for all types of learners. My goal is always the same: help each child understand and succeed in a way that works for them.

My own education history

I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a graduate degree in Special Education. I’m also LETRS-certified through Lexia, which has strengthened my understanding of the science of reading and effective literacy instruction.
