Intro to Percent Change Activity
In this activity students guess the price of 10 grocery items in 2020 and calculate the change in their guessed price to the actual price. This is a great way to introduce percent change and get students involved at the very beginning of a lesson. This activity includes a power point presentation to project items and prices, and a worksheet for students to record their guesses and calculate their work.
