This is a quiz/test for the book, Detective Gordon: The First Case by Ulf Nilsson. This includes matching, open ended questions, sequencing, and matching. Students are asked reading comprehension questions, vocabulary questions, and parts of speech questions for adverbs and adjectives. There are 26 questions in all.

There are also vocabulary questions, cause and effect, and critical thinking questions. The assessment includes multiple choice, open-ended, fill in the blank, and short essay.

This is an assessment for the book, Lowji Discovers America by Candace Fleming. I gave my students a quick recap on the book (first page) and a test at the end (last five pages). Students are assessed on character knowledge, vocabulary, and story comprehension. There are no multiple choice questions on this test, students must write their answers.
