Experience
Elementary school educator with experience from K-6, focusing more on 4-6 math and science. THroughout my teaching career, I have developed classroom-tested resources designed to help my students build confidence, deepen understanding. and become more independent learners. These tools have helped my tutoring company expand and become more successful as well.
Teaching style
My teaching style focuses on making learning visual, engaging, and accessible for all students. I believe students learn best when they have clear reference tools they can use both in the classroom and at home. Many of my resources include anchor charts, student reference sheets, and visual supports that help concepts stick long after the lesson ends.
Awards & shining teacher moments
One of my biggest moments was the first year I saw my resources really step into play and my students reached 100% proficiency on their FAST PM3, just to follow the next year with the same outcome. The resources have been a game changer helping teachers and students with making teaching and learning easier. They have also been great resources to use with the students I tutor, which have also received all 4's and 5's across the board.
My own education history
I have a degree is Psychology alongside a K-6 certification in elementary education. I also am certified in 6-9 math. I started in the VPK environment where I taught little minds for several years moving up the ladder to be a Directors assistant. I love teaching and finding ways to make it fun.
