These problems can be used to introduce the concept of solving one-step equations. Students can work in pairs or small groups to solve the problem, and then share their solutions with the class. This can be a good way to get students thinking about how to solve equations, and to get them talking about their work with each other. Ways to use:Independent Practice Homework Formal Assessment
Math chain is a easy and fun way for students to practice counting and sorting by color. It will also improve on motor skills. Once this awesome resource is laminated in different bright colored card stock, hole punch at each bottom circle so students can clip their math links on. I would recommend printing out 5-7 depending how many students per center. Enjoy!
