This is the perfect weekly or monthly newsletter format to make sure you always keep your student's parents informed and in the loop. Once you have your basic's written, it is a quick process to update what you are teaching your students that week/month.

This is a great resource for any classroom setting where students need extra help with letter identification. This would be perfect for a small group lesson as well as a partner center activity. This bundle includes three versions of the game.

Segmenting CVC words is important because it helps develop phonemic awareness. This activity is a way for teachers to check in with their students daily/weekly and see how the students are doing with this skill. Teachers can print and laminate these items and use it as a quick drill. Teachers can also use this activity as a quick warm up during small group. This activity can also be used as a center.

This includes two CVC word worksheets for students learning CVC words. Each page has different pictures for the students to figure out how to spell them. This is a nice resource because the students can use the top of the page to help them eliminate letters as they go.

This is a powerpoint of a Shape Scavenger Hunt that I created for my Kindergarten class. I showed them the slide and we talked about the shape shown and different objects that are those shapes. They then were given 2 minutes to go find something in their house that was the same shape to show to the class.
