This is a 20 question multiple choice final test based on the original book by Jacqueline Davies. It also includes an essay question. The answer key is attached.

This Frindle Choice Board asks students to pick an activity from each column. The first column includes activity to identify character traits, the second column asks students to discuss the story using the 5 story elements of (characters, setting, plot, conflict, resolution), and the last column asks students to compare and contrast using a Venn diagram. Rubric for the choice board is now included.

This can be used at the beginning of the year to allow the students to get to know one another. Students walk around and fill out the boxes with their friends' names who fit the category.

This template is editable and allows students to create and track their NWEA Map scores. They are asked to track their scores and create bar graphs, goals, and push goals. Students are also given the opportunity to identify their areas of strength and what they mean, along with areas of focus and what those mean.

I have attached an editable brochure for the novel Balto of the Blue Dawn. This is an interactive resource for students to complete as they read. The content covers learning standards in accordance with all 10 chapters of the story.

I used this graphic organizer for students when they reviewed articles. The template allows them to list three important facts or statistics. Asks them to pull one opinion from the article, provide their opinion about the article. They can also identify author's purpose, author's style, three supporting details, and the main idea.

This product is a tool to have students review illustrations from a book and create observations, inferences, and predictions based on the illustration. It also asks the students to check and review their responses to verify if they were correct.

I use these to track the students' reading throughout the month. For every 10 minutes, the students color in an item on the bookshelf. When they are finished they total up their numbers at the top.

I used this as a goodbye letter to my students and families when student teaching, however, can be used in any circumstance. Make sure to leave space above your name to write a signature :)
