About the store
My husband and I have a combined total of 26 years of experience in education. I have 15 years education experience ranging from 1st - 5th grade in all subject areas, but my love is creating math materials for elementary school. I have been a math facilitator for the past 5 years at a Title I school in Texas where I have learned the importance of assessing students at the level of rigor needed to increase student achievement. Writing assessments is my expertise. My husband has been teaching high school Algebra, Algebra II, and PreCal for the past 13 years helping to increase Algebra scores from 40% to 80% in some sub population groups. We love the opportunity to share what we have created to help students be more successful.

3 Digit Addition and Subtraction Problems. Practices, and Assessment
These problems are all 3 digit addition and subtraction problems, both single and multi-step. The first section is problems separated by type: Combining, Comparing, Separating, and Missing Part. The second section contain an activity for students to cut apart the problems and sort them according to addition or subtraction and then solve. Tenths and Hundredths Decimal Practices
The focus of these practices is tenths and hundredths. The following unit contains notes pages on "What is a Decimal", "How to read a decimal", and "How to write a decimal". It also contains an outline of a lesson plan for 8 days (nothing super specific, but the order that we teach decimals). In addition, there are 7 difference practices including the following concepts:

Multiplication and Missing Number Facts Practice
These 12 practices each contain 80 questions. Half of the practices are multiplication facts to 12 and half are fill in the missing number which reinforces both multiplication and division. We use them as a warm up during our 12 day review before the state test in 4th and 5th grade.

Writing Fractions and Decimals from Pictorial Models
The following 3 practices focus on the concept of taking a pictorial model of tenths or hundredths and writing a fraction and decimal for match the picture. It is such a simple skill, but so many students struggle.

Teaching style
You will notice from my work, that I am not into anything elaborate, My focus is on creating assessments that are aligned with the Texas TEKS and are strong, rigorous problems that prepare students for the state assessment they face each year.
