This is a project that I have used several times with my students, both as a 6th grade class and as 7th grade. Fantastic project for students to show their knowledge of scale and ratio, area, and budgeting. This project is designed with the end product using a poster for display. Teaching style
I love teaching math and the lightbulb moment that my students get. I do prefer to have an active engaged classroom. I do lots of discussion and group work for assignments. We use a digital platform, but I love some of the hands on back to the basics. Sometimes our students need a change from the norm and less screen time.
