Teaching style

I believe that teachers need to develop a relationship of trust with their students. Students need to trust their teachers in order to buy in to what they are teaching. I am all about differentiating instruction for students. Why not allow students to choose their topics and learning activities; that will at least ensure a higher level of motivation!

Awards & shining teacher moments

I am Highly Qualified to teach Core Content Classes to K-12 Special Education students. I was awarded the Dawg Gone Good Award by Baltic School District in the Fall of 2008, for contributions above and beyond the call of duty toward the education of the students of Baltic. I have participated in Teacher Shares at area Training Forums for Transition in the IEP.
