This year I began my 21st year teaching and feel as much passion for my craft as I did my first year. I have taught K-12 art in a variety of schools in the state of Kansas. I am currently an elementary art instructor in a public school.
This documents is designed for not only gifted and talented programs, but any independent learning that may take place in your classroom. The contract clearly defines what goals, and learning objectives are expected. This contract is great for independent study students.

Teaching style
I follow Discipline Based Art Education in my classroom and my teaching style is that of a guide or facilitator. My job is to mentor students and coach them to make the best decisions they can make.

Scholastics Art and Writing: Student Awarded national Silver Medal 2018 and National Gold Medal in 2011, Davis Teacher of the Year Nominee 2010 Hutchinson High School.
