This year I began my 21st year teaching and feel as much passion for my craft as I did my first year. I have taught K-12 art in a variety of schools in the state of Kansas. I am currently an elementary art instructor in a public school.
This great creative activity allows your students to imagine they are a zoologist who has just discovered a new species of animal. Students must illustrate and use text evidence to display to the public their great discovery. This project can be used for critical thinking in both art and gifted and talented classes.
