This Worksheet will help your students better understand place value relationships and how to properly explain the relationships between of the same digits in a number.
This accompanies Lesson 1-2 in the Pearson EnVisions 2.0 Math Program.
I found that with the envisions Topic 2 lessons, my students needed more work with the Commutative and Associative Properties to better prepare them for the assessment.
I use the scale to show the balance on both sides of the equal sign, and I use headphones to help them remember the parentheses in the Associative Property!
Included is a set of 20 task cards. Students have to determine if each fact is about Abraham Lincoln or George Washington.
*Suggestion: Use in conjunction with the 'Abraham Lincoln' and 'George Washington' articles located at www.superteacherworksheets.com
Also included is a slideshow with the answers and photos of the presidents.
