I have worked in a variety of settings:
- as a school-based SLP serving clients from Pre-K to grade 8
- as an early childhood SLP serving at-risk clients
- currently working for an autism program serving clients from birth to age 18
A social story to support sharing toys at daycare. Great for kids who struggle to understand ownership of toys and sharing their favorite items. The story can be edited to include names and pictures of daycare staff.
This visual schedule is divided into times of day with picture support for the activities or tasks included in that timeframe. It is excellent for clients needing a structured schedule with flexibility built in. Tip: Laminate the schedule. Then you can use a marker to cross off unavailable options or draw/write in additional options if there are unexpected changes.
Visual for adults supporting play routines in children, such as parents, SLPAs, daycare staff, educational assistants, and more. The information provided describes how to increase or decrease challenge for children learning about play routines and when this may be appropriate.
