Repeat Addition-Multiplying by 3
This powerpoint covers multiplying by 3 using repeat addition. Repeat addition is a great skill to teach for students that do not have multiplication facts memorized yet. The powerpoint consists of 14 slides in the explicit direct instruction format. Slides include: learning objective, prior knowledge, importance, concept development, skill development, guided practice, and closure.

Experience

Teaching style
I work for a school district that is using the direct instruction format. I like to incorporate technology into my lessons whenever possible, so I have been creating powerpoint presentations for the standards I am teaching.

I received my B.A. in Liberal Studies and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University Fresno.
