About the store

Experience

This is currently my sixth year as a classroom teacher. My first three years were spent teaching a self contained 5th grade class. My last three years I have been teaching in a self contained 3rd grade classroom.

Teaching style

I work for a school district that is using the direct instruction format. I like to incorporate technology into my lessons whenever possible, so I have been creating powerpoint presentations for the standards I am teaching.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Nominee for school district educator of the year (2008).

My own education history

I received my B.A. in Liberal Studies and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University Fresno.
