Dear Educators,
Hello, my name is Daniel Hermosillo. I have been teaching students with special needs for the past 10 years. I have taught numerous grade and disability levels. I have been teaching students with Autism for the past 7 years. I am originally from California, where I was born and raised.
I currently hold a Masters Degree in Cross-Categorical Special Education and reside in Arizona, where I currently teach students with Autism. I have extensive knowledge in ABA, Structured Teaching Methods, and Sensory Integration to name a few.
The students I have taught throughout my career have typically been on the lower-end of the spectrum. During my time as an educator, I have noticed that there are not many supports for those who are on this end of the spectrum. I have developed numerous programs and activities that assist those who are non-verbal, non-writers, and non-readers. This is my effort to give back to the learning community. I noticed that most supports on the market need to be so modified that you are spending a lot of energy re-creating the wheel. I truly hope my efforts help those who find themselves in the position that I was in.
Sincerely,
Daniel X. Hermosillo M.A. Ed.
