This is a template for those teachers who teach the Big 7 division method. This can be edited to fit the needs of your classroom.

A template, to put in a plastic sleeve, for students to practice long division using the boxed method.

This is a game I play with my students to practice their multiplication skills. This can be edited to meet the needs of your students. I have included the following: -1 digit times 1 digit -1 digit times 3 digit -1 digit times 4 digit -2 digit times 2 digit -1 mixed review The only thing you would need to update is the QR Code. This can easily be done using an online QR Code generator. (They are completely free)

I noticed my 4th graders struggled with 2-digit multiplication. I taught my students the steps having them circle each step in a different color. This helped them really see where each number was places and which numbers to multiply by. After some practice, I take away the colors. This is a template for multiplying with color. I put these in plastic paper protectors and have my students practice multiplying with a dry erase marker.

Color coding multiplication has worked wonders for my students to understand traditional algorithm in 2-digit times 2-digit multiplication. This is a strategy I have been using for the past several years. I make a big deal about the red and blue step having the potential for carried numbers, while orange and purple will not. I also call the green step the money step because if they don't remember to drop that zero they will only make $50, instead of $500. I stress this a great deal. The second

My students really struggled to rewrite all their steps when solving multistep problems. This just gave them steps to follow and help them out. It is a very basic template and can easily be edited to fit your classroom.
