This can be used with the Wonders program or any other unit about Author's Purpose. It gives a description about what Author's purpose is and examples. Students must read the example, tell what type of message the author is trying to send, and how they know.

Every week I have a new kid of the week. We interview them and make a poster to tell us about themselves. At the end of the week, each student fills out a paper with a picture and story about that student and I put it all into a book for the student to keep.

I send this home with my end of year report cards so parents can more easily track their student's progress.

This is made to be used with the story Click, Clack, Moo: Cow's that Type (we use it with the Wonders series).
