This is an introduction to Stop Motion Animation. In this lesson, get your students excited about creating their very own Stop Motion Animation using 2 Dimensional or 3 Dimensional objects. It provides: -What is 2D? What is 3D? -What a Storyboard is. -Prep work to make your ideas come to life. -What Stop Motion Animation Extension to use off of Google Chrome. -Two examples to get ideas flowing

In this lesson your students will get started with brainstorming their very own stop motion animation. In this presentation you will be able to: -print a copy of "My Storyboard" for each student -brainstorm as a whole class a list of ideas to use in their animation -create time for prep work (backgrounds, characters, props, etc.) -how to download an animator as an extension from Chrome Web Store -saving their work to their Google Drive

In this lesson it will allow your student's stop motion project to have more pizzazz by adding a cover page with text, music, and possibly a background if they use a green screen.
