Pretests are a great way for teachers to see what standards their students know and still need to work on. This knowledge allows teachers to differentiate using data. This pretest has the standards on it aligned to the new Florida standards.

This presentation is an automated Power Point that explains key vocabulary terms: place, value, place value. It also includes information on the ones house and thousands house, how to read numbers and the four different ways to represent numbers along with practice.

Reading on Electricity. Information included: What electricity is, atoms, electrons, basic circuit information, and comprehension questions. Can be used to introduce the science topic, electricity, or the questions focus on text features and main idea. I actually created this for my adult education class.

I use this for my GED prep class but this can be used for any group of students learning how to work with positive and negative numbers.
