About the store

Experience

Welcome to my TPT! I'm in my 16th year of teaching, all in Title I settings. I love making learning engaging and applicable for ALL of my students! I am currently a 1st Grade teacher but have also taught Kindergarten, Fourth Grade, and 5th Grade.

Teaching style

Hands-on, move, and manipulate is my style! We learn through DOING and being a part of the lesson.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was chosen as MEMTA attendee in 2014. It was such an honor to spend a week learning from the best of the best in Science and Math education!

My own education history

I am serial learner and as my husband states, seem to get the "5 year itch" when it comes to my own education. I currently have two Master's Degrees- One in Teaching through the Arts and the other in STEAM Leadership. I am also in my final semester of completing my K-12 Administrator graduate certificate.
