I am a current 5th grade teacher, but also have experience teaching 4th grade inclusion, and additional field experiences in kindergarten and third grade. In addition, I have been a substitute and have that perspective as well.
This is an original book I created for college for a 4th grade science lesson on the Dodo birds and extinction. When I became a teacher, I continued to use the book, and the students absolutely loved it. It has original illustrations (although you can tell they are original, they are still decent illustrations that the kids like), but this is a fictional story based on non-fiction that helps students understand the impact that humans had on the real Dodo birds. It is a great book to teach huma
This is such a versatile item, no matter what the grade or subject is that you teach. The booklet is half a page per letter, plus a title page and table of contents page (vertical length). There is a letter header, a section for an illustration, a line for a vocab term or title, and a few lines to write on. The lines are a bit smaller, so probably not best for those practicing letter skills, such as kindergarten. Use for soooo many things!
