I use this sight word packet to assess my students' sight word knowledge throughout the year, and to communicate with student families about words they need to practice. I assess my students by having them read the sight words on the list about once per month. I place a mark in a different color each month next to every word the student does not know yet. I then find the percentage of words the student knows, and we celebrate the growth that they made since their last sight word test! Dolch
