This graphic organizer contains the formula and steps to calculate the average rate of change for intervals of quadratic functions. Set builder and interval notations are both used. Steps are provided for finding the average rate of change from a table, a graph, and an equation.
I created these scaffolded notes with steps to write parallel and perpendicular equations for my students. I have included steps for using slope intercept form and point slope formula, depending on how you teach this concept in your classroom.
