Experience

I am currently a homeschooling mom, teaching through science! In the past, I have taught anatomy and physiology and chemistry at the junior college level.

Teaching style

I think students learn best when they are invested in the material and can see, touch, smell, taste, and hear. I try to provide concrete, hands-on, and interactive materials that students will remember rather than recite.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, a Master of Public Health degree in Community Health, and am a Certified Health Education Specialist.

Additional biographical information

Born and raised in Texas and still currently residing here. My husband and I have two kids and a bearded dragon and practice the art of learning every day. I love to read and practice yoga.
