About the store

Experience

I have dedicated 15 years to education, serving students and educators across grades K–12. My career includes 10 years as a classroom teacher, 3 years as an instructional coach and academic specialist, and 2 years as a math specialist. Throughout these roles, I have worked closely with teachers to analyze student work, identify learning gaps, and develop targeted instructional plans that support student growth. My experience has reinforced the importance of using meaningful data to guide instruction, which inspired the creation of Data to Decisions.

Teaching style

I believe that effective instruction begins with understanding what students know and where they need support. My approach focuses on using evidence from student work, assessments, and classroom observations to make informed instructional decisions. I am passionate about helping educators move beyond collecting data and toward using data to drive purposeful action. The resources I create are practical, easy to implement, and designed to help teachers save time while maximizing student learning.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of the most rewarding moments in my career have come from supporting teachers and students as they achieve growth through intentional, data-driven instruction. Whether helping a student build confidence in mathematics, supporting teachers through instructional coaching, or collaborating with teams to improve student outcomes, I am continually inspired by the impact educators have every day. Seeing students succeed because of targeted interventions and thoughtful instruction remains one of my greatest professional joys.

My own education history

My educational journey has been shaped by 15 years of experience across multiple roles in K–12 education. Working as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, academic specialist, and math specialist has provided me with a broad perspective on teaching and learning. These experiences have strengthened my passion for mathematics education, assessment practices, intervention planning, and helping educators use data effectively to support all learners.

Additional biographical information

Hi! I'm Keri, the creator of Data to Decisions. I created this store to provide educators with practical, classroom-tested tools that make analyzing student learning and planning instruction more manageable. Many of the resources in this store were inspired by real conversations with teachers and the daily challenges of tracking progress, identifying misconceptions, and planning meaningful reteaching. My goal is simple: help educators spend less time creating systems and more time focusing on students. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope these resources support you in making informed decisions that lead to student success.
