About the store
David has taught math at a number of high schools in Australia. This work has been interspersed with periods as a regional mathematics adviser, a writer of senior mathematics materials, a curriculum developer and a classroom coach training teachers in middle schools in the Bronx, New York. David has published articles in professional journals and presented at conferences, and was vice president of the Queensland Association of Mathematics Teachers and editor of their journal Teaching Mathematics from 1998 to 2000.

My own education history

David Ilsley grew up in England, receiving 1st Class Honours and a Masters degree from Cambridge University. He moved to Australia, and after doing post-graduate research at the Australian National University in Canberra, went on to do a Diploma of Education at the University of Queensland.
