About the store
Every classroom needs a little boost now and then! This store will provide teachers with tools to elevate student engagement and allow teachers to enjoy teaching again. It's like a vitamin classroom needs. I have had the pleasure of teaching high school business education to a diverse population of students at an alternative high school where I implemented teaching strategies that accommodate the vast array of learning styles. I worked as a professional development leader/consultant for Utah State Board of Education for eleven years during the developmental years of the required Financial Literacy graduation requirement. I am currently a learning coach, teaching financial literacy, and working as an educational consultant.

Bell Work MARCH Buzzers

This is a great classroom management tool! I love having a few minutes to take attendance before jumping in to class. Buzzers work like bell work or journal writing, with a little twist. The “Buzzer” is the writing prompt. This packet includes 30 prompts, so you can be picky and choose the ones you like best since there are extras. On Monday, students are given what I call a Buzzer form. I keep them either in their student folders, or in a specified location in the room. Each day when stud

Student of the Month Certificate/Award {Sample} - Apple & Pencil

This certificates make student recognition a snap. There is one editable certificate that will last for years. I recommend printing on white cardstock. The certificate format is a Word document. However, you do not have to worry about ruining the formatting because it is protected. The benefit to this format is that you can click where it says TYPE NAME HERE and TYPE MONTH AND YEAR HERE to enter changing information in to a text box, then print, sign your name and...VIOA-LA! Teaching style

I am a very visual teacher. I love to have movement in the classroom (yes, I am PE certified and Business Ed). I would also add the word "tangible." I prefer hands on activities, real life scenarios, bright, vivid, and clean presentation, whether it is on screen, text, etc., mixed with a relaxed, cooperative, light environment...including a pinch of humor.
