About the store

Experience

Daniela has been a pediatric Occupational Therapist for 8 years, working predominantly with children who experience sensory processing difficulties and neurodevelopmental delays. She has worked within a school and private practice setting.

Teaching style

My teaching style encourages a collaborative and play-based learning environment to allow children to participate in activities that provide a "just-right" challenge, and perform to their full potential.

My own education history

Daniela completed her studies in BSc. Occupational Therapy at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2011. She went onto obtain her qualification in Sensory Integration through the South African Institute of Sensory Integration (SAISI) in 2017 and complete a Masters in Early Childhood Intervention through the University of Pretoria in 2018.

Additional biographical information

A visual perceptual fanatic. There is so much more underlying reading and writing.
