This 49 page pack contains all you need to help your students dig deep into the third grade CCSS for fractions! For each standard, mastery statements and learning targets are included. Ten tasks enable students to explore the learning targets in a student centered way. Each task is written as a lesson plan, and contains questions, materials, and assessments. A task rubric is also included.

This two day lesson engages students in building trains of 10, and snapping them into two parts to find all of the combinations to 10. Questions, formative assessment, differentiation ideas, student worksheets, and answer keys are included.

In this lesson, students will be asked to examine the relationship between the product and the factors in a multiplication situation. They will write and discuss their own multiplicative comparisons. Practice questions, discussion prompts, and an exit ticket are included.

This is a two player game with game board, aligned to the Common Core State Standards for Kindergarten students. Players roll dice and make lengths of snap cubes. The player with the greatest number gets to place a counter on his side of the game board. The player who gets 10 counters first is the winner.
