My background includes creating supplemental materials, supporting struggling learners, and adapting instruction to meet student needs. Teaching style

I value hands-on, inquiry-based learning and strive to make the content I teach applicable to real life. I believe every student has unique strengths to contribute, and I aim to cultivate an open, supportive environment where their interests guide learning. My goal is to help students grow into curious, confident thinkers who feel empowered to explore the world around them. I believe life is shaped by meaningful experiences, and travel is one of my greatest passions. Having visited more than 20 countries, I’ve gained invaluable insights from the cultures, landscapes, and people I’ve encountered. I’m committed to bringing these experiences into my classroom—especially for students who may never travel outside their own state—using global phenomena to spark curiosity and expand their understanding of the world.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I am currently collaborating with a school in Olpe, Germany on a cross-cultural Authentic STEM project that connects students through shared inquiry and diverse perspectives. I hope to continue building international relationships that enrich student learning, broaden worldviews, and inspire a sense of possibility through authentic, experience-driven exploration.
