This 4 page document explores different areas of career development pathways, and continues with the area of personal goals. The activity encourages clear, relevant objectives and provides charts of examples for demonstration purposes. Among the activites are developing a vision, creating a list of values, a statement of purpose, creating goals and objectives, formulating an action plan, conducting a SWOT analysis, and developing personal goals.

This Powerpoint has 34 slides of information which is too much information per slide and can be expanded. Instead of using notes, all of the slides contain detailed information relating to resumes, applications, interviewing skills, and how-to's in the job market.

This document reviews a basic memorandum such as would be used in a business setting. The student has an opportunity to identify the incorrectly spelled words, misused words, and basic constructual errors of the memorandum. An answer sheet is part of the document with suggested remedies.

It is also a good resource for evaluating skills such as spelling, punctuation, and word choice in the educational setting. This comprehensive research paper consists of 30 pages total, with 13 sources of varying types. Among other features, there is the abstract, statement of problem, study design, literature review, and study survey. There are examples of different types of citations and appendices.

This 19 slide powerpoint goes over some basics on diversity, primarily with a disability focus. There are 5 slides specifically for Deaf and hard of hearing issues, but most is general information including ADA. Teacher or facilitator also discusses some changing language use - what is appropriate and what is not.

This is a sample document which shows the structure of a letter of proposal. It cotains the elements for a successful discourse: purpose, introduction, statement of problem, proposed solution, schedule, qualifications, conclusion, and appendices. It is specific in content, but is general in titling so that others can use as a teaching tool.

This interview form has 11 questions, and some are multiple choice, and some are open-ended questions. All of them are thought-provoking, and the notes (included as the preview file) will discuss some of the aspects of the candidate interview. A great preparation tool for those that want practice, and certainly usable for screening applicants.

This template provides the student a good overview of some questions that thay may encounter at an interview. As an interviewer, these questions provide a structure for documenting all interviews consistently, and also to provide a springboard for introspective dialogue.
