About the store
It's hard for me to believe, but this is my 18th year of teaching! I began as a technology teacher for 1st and 2nd grade students in the Killeen Independent School District in Killeen, TX. After moving back to my home town in Pennsylvania, I taught 1st grade for two years. For the next 10 years I then "looped" with my students and taught each of my classes for both 1st and 2nd grade. These 10 years of looping were truly the highlight of my teaching career! (If you ever have the opportunity to loop, do it!!) Three years ago some changes were made and our looping program was no longer available. At this time I made a move back to technology and have been having so much fun!! My first year I taught 1st through 5th grade technology and for the past two years I have been teaching 1st through 3rd grade technology. Although I do sometimes miss being in the classroom and especially looping, I am having a blast teaching technology and feel so refreshed as a teacher!!

Additional biographical information

My husband and I have been married for 16 years and have four furkids, our cats! Their names are Reggie, Lucy, Cat, and Little One and we love them dearly! We are Parrotheads and enjoy our summer pilgrimages to see Jimmy Buffett in concert, our most recent in Camden this summer. We both love anything that has to do with the beach and will take any opportunity we can get to go somewhere with sun, sand, and waves.
