About the store
For the past 30 years I have taught math, from 7th grade to college algebra, in several different states. I have taught in a small K-12 school where I was the only high school math teacher and now I currently serve as the math coach for our high school of nearly 3000 students. I love teaching math, and helping students and teachers. I have 4 children who have been blessed to have their mother as their math teacher. For my after school fun, I enjoy coaching track and cross country for our high school.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My shining teacher moment was a in 2022 when I published my first book, Function of the Day: bell work for math classes. This came as a result of getting an idea for bell work, trying with my students, and having remarkable success. After several years of success I decided if it works for me, it can work for others teachers, and I felt the need to share this with teachers everywhere. After presenting my first book at math conferences, I was asked by teachers to write another book for Algebra 1, which I completed that summer. I love sharing this great resource with other teachers, and supporting teachers in implementing Function of the Day with their classes.
