Experience

With over twenty years of experience in the classroom, I have been fortunate to teach in a variety of grade levels. Currently, I am teaching kindergarten, but have had the opportunity to teach fifth grade, first grade, and Title I. All these experiences have provided valuable insight into children's learning styles and best teaching practices.

Teaching style

I'm a hands-on teacher. My classroom learning environment is one where I guide my students and watch the learning take place through small groups. I also enjoy getting to know my students and building a rapport with them and their families. I'm innovative and try to think outside of the box to come up with the best ways to teach my kiddos!

My own education history

I attended Hauser high school and graduated in 1993. I graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten endorsement. I graduated with a master's in instructional design and technology in 2022.
