About the store
My first few years in education leadership were nearly my last. I felt overwhelmed by the number and variety of tasks expected of me and was very unprepared. I have worked steadily in my various leadership roles to build systems of organization into my responsibilities and want to share my trials and errors with the Ed leadership community. We’re all in this together, and I strongly believe working ‘smarter not harder’ is the only way to survive such a demanding and stressful line of work. ABOUT ME I have over 15 years of educational experience at elementary, middle & high school levels; including 5 years in full-time leadership roles. I worked for 10 years in a small private K-12 international school in Africa where I led the elementary team through building a new school from scratch. I currently work as a Title I middle school dean in northern Virginia. We are a large admin team supporting a staff of 100+ and nearly 1,000 students. Everyday I’m finding new ways to grow and learn as an educator and have learned to lean into the challenges of my profession. Follow my leadership journey on instagram at msdean.va.

A fill-in calendar set with one page for each month as well as one blank calendar. In my classroom, students fill in one calendar at the beginning of the month to inform them (and their parents) of special events, holidays, up-coming tests, etc. I also display one calendar on our class events bulletin board.
