I have been teaching Middle School children for the past six years. Prior to obtaining my Master's in Education I substitute taught for long-term absences. In addition to Elementary/Intermediate Education, I also taught adults Computer Programming and Software Programs.
This project combines technology skills with research skills. Each student is assigned a president which he/she will research. I use this project not only to teach about the presidents, but also to teach how to use PowerPoint. Students will learn to cite sources in MLA format, upload pictures for inclusion into the project, and will hopefully find out little known details about our past presidents.

Experience
I have been teaching Middle School children for the past six years. Prior to obtaining my Master's in Education I substitute taught for long-term absences. In addition to Elementary/Intermediate Education, I also taught adults Computer Programming and Software Programs.
Teaching style
I am a strong believer in hands-on teaching, and learning by doing. Although lectures are sometimes necessary, I feel that authentic experiences yield the most productive results.
