About the store

Experience

As a recent graduate, I have spent my last four years in schools in the Philadelphia area observing, assisting, and stepping in for teachers. Over these four years, I have been in classrooms with students ages four to fourteen and am looking forward to getting back into classrooms again one day. For the time being, I want to focus on my personal brand and expand my collection of resources while sharing with other educators as well.

Teaching style

Learn to love. Love to learn. My main goal for my students is that they leave my room being independent learners, so I work to create a student-driven classroom community with all of my classes and activities. When students are able to advocate for themselves and their needs, they will thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I entered Saint Joseph's University with a Presidential Scholarship, and throughout my time at the school, I maintained a 3.95 GPA. My passion for education grew over the years, and I had the opportunity to join Kappa Delta Pi, the Honors Education Fraternity. KDP allowed me to learn from peers and alumni while establishing educational values of my own. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my double major and minor, and I'm excited to use the drive that I have for education in order to create resources for other teachers.

My own education history

I attended Pennsbury School District for my K-12 education, and have watched my three younger siblings attend these schools as well. For college, I attended Saint Joseph's University where I earned majors in Elementary Education and Special Education as well as a minor in Communications. I hope to one day return for my Master's Degree, but for now, I am enjoying my time finding out what teaching means to me.
