This is a pre-assessment before a trigonometry unit. The assessment is basic trig ratios and solving for missing sides. The students rate their knowledge for each question.

This assessment is for criteria B and D geometry unit. The students research mosaics in the Islamic world. They share their findings and then make their own mosaic. The students will calculate area and perimeter of various quadrilaterals/triangles. A rubric is included.

This is a constructions book that students use to compile geometric constructions. There are a few extra practice problems and many of the constructions require the students to list the steps they used. This usually takes a few days to teach, depending on how you present it. I have included points of concurrency.

This activity has practice making dilations with the parallel method. Then the students will work in groups to make a larger dilation.

This project uses desmos to create triangles with points of concurrency. There is practice and then a design project at the end. Rubrics are included.

This activity is used to help derive the distance and midpoint formulas. The students work through problems to help them create the formulas and understand where the terms in the formulas are coming from. This is an inquiry activity where the students use their ATL skills to problem solve and communicate their understanding.
