About the store
I have been teaching in the New York City Department Of Education for 19 years. I am licensed in both Special Education and Math. I have taught in a Special Class Setting, ICTS Setting and General Education Setting over my 19 years. I am currently a Peer Collaborative Teacher and was a Model teacher prior to that. My team teacher and I have been working together for the last 7 years and we have a lot of experience in differentiating our lessons to meet all of our students needs. Many of the lessons and activities you see have been created collaboratively with another general education teacher with 17 years of experience to make for well rounded lessons that are designed to give the student a feeling of success when preparing for the Algebra 1 regents exam.

Teaching style

We believe that student engagement creates a positive environment of respect and rapport and gives our students the greatest chance for success. In our lessons you will see a lot of scenarios that are created based on our students. We take a lot of the regents material and modify it to capture their interest. We also use a lot of graphic organizers to meet the needs of our visual learners.
