This is a great scaffolded introduction to linear programming. I use this every year to introduce minimizing and maximizing profits using linear functions. It provides students with an understandable context for the numbers involved while guiding them through the various steps of the problem.

This is the second WS in the linear programming unit. These problems will scaffold student ability from guided practice to working on their own. This particular problem address situations with more than two constraints and allows students to practice their systems of equations solving skills as well.
