This is a simple craft but it is one that parents will want to keep and hang up on the fridge. Your students can use their fingers or make handprints to fill in the heart. There is also a cute poem that reminds parents that their little ones won't be small forever. It can be hard to clean up all the fingerprints all over everything but the truth is it goes by fast and parents will miss all the messes.
I teach uppercase letters first because lowercase letters can be so tricky for new learners. I want my students to gain confidence as they become readers and writers. That's why I created this poster with the letter order that I use while teaching. I wanted it to be a free idea so you could use it to help your future readers and writers to become confident learners too!
