About the store

Experience

I have taught fourth grade in an amazing school for the past 4 years. I currently teach in a Dual Language Immersion classroom so my students learn for half of the day with me and half of the day in French with my partner teacher.

Teaching style

I am passionate about engaging writing activities that students can relate to! I try to choose topics that are interesting and exciting because I feel that a student produces their best work when they are invested in the topic.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My own education history

I attended the University of Delaware where I received my Bachelor's degree in elementary education. After I began teaching, I went back to school at Arizona State University to get my Master's degree in ESL. I love to learn and am always looking for opportunities to learn from my students and colleagues.

Additional biographical information

I have an amazing yellow lab puppy with a bad habit of eating things he shouldn't. He is the inspiration and motivation for my store!
