Teaching style
My job as an educator is to prepare students for life outside of the classroom, and my role as an art teacher is to instill a love, understanding, and appreciation of visual culture. Art is a bridge students may use to connect learned knowledge and skills to their application in the world. A successful art teacher provides students the opportunity to expand their worldview with exposure to different cultures and continually engage in high-order thinking.
